How do I change the style & placement of my language selector?
You can customize the style & placement of your language selector from the Language Selector page under Project Settings.
The Basic Customization page provides an intuitive interface to control the positioning of your selector on the page, as well as text and background colors and styles. You also have the option to add or remove country flags and regions/locales for each language. You can even customize the exact text to be displayed in your selector, such as "Spanish (Latin America)" vs. "Español (América Latina)" for example.
Any customizations you make from the Basic Customizations page will be applied to your selector upon saving, regardless of which language version the user is viewing.
The selector preview feature will automatically display your selections on the page in real time as you make changes.
For additional custom styling ability, you can use the CSS Editor. Styles applied from the Editor will overrule selections made on the Basic Customization page.
If you choose to build your own selector natively and you do NOT want GlobalLink Web to place one on the page for you, please email us and we will disable it.
